I am in the making
of my own digital cage
I confess all the numbness
that comes with not
listening to yourself
Just to seek validation from you
that in itself comes from
a similar point of view
Creating a distorted
made up world full of
unicorns of positivity hiding
demons of loneliness
Chasing quiet but I am chased
in the economy of distraction
An anonymous entity wanting attention
when we’re just a code in the age of information
We’re fools blaming technology for our sins
when we are unable to find a meaning
in all that we do
I’m a fool trying to articulate
that gnawing feeling of dread
that I will simply forget
with a notification or two
[343] Exhibition in Vanity

Yes fools blame technology, as writes do an inky pen, for it more important what is communicated, than by what.
