My words exist for another time
They’re born with accumulated dust
They die with my first cry
They are trapped in reflection
of all that I cannot create
It is adorned with jewels
of all that I cannot hear
Skies become dim
Lands part in wait
Kings recognise their sacrifices
Queens fly in their dreams
The past I was never a part of
feels more real than the present
I choose not to be a part of
Silence I wanted sits next to me
Not in the shape I expected it to be
Everything loses its depth to me
The sky turns white for my death to be
My vision fades to form crystals
surrounded by a dying rainbow
I get lost in the words I am not able to write
Yesterday’s emotions waiting for tomorrow’s wisdom

Is it nostalgia?
Yesterday was wonderful, I realise today. Our future will be brighter.😃
