Digital sun is burning us away
It’s holding our best selves in prison
lost heartfelt letters, of all our memories
images get distracted in this age of information
December helps us from drowning
from all our fears away from the digital sun
Catching the graveyard of stars
on top of a frozen lake
until it’s January and one of us
feels the need for heat.
We drown.

I want to keep returning to this poem as I feel it holds deeper truths yet to be revealed. Thank you for your thoughts which stir.
