[357] Answers That Linger

The light explodes into the roomโฃ
burning up your skinโฃ
revealing how i see you in my mindโฃ
Have you ever drowned in the air โฃ
because the heaviness of the momentโฃ
is sometimes too much to bear?โฃ
When answers become more importantโฃ
than the questions we dared ask each otherโฃ
When our thoughts need expressionsโฃ
beyond the abstract to create disorderโฃ
to create the new orderโฃ
โฃ
The light dies out as if โฃ
you consumed it all โฃ
Your radiant red skin โฃ
a contradiction of what โฃ
you actually feelโฃ
You speak in brokenโฃ
blue sentences butโฃ
you think in floods that devoured villagesโฃ
and earthquakes that formed mountainsโฃ
My simple answer swirls inside your mindโฃ
as the night falls and the night callsโฃ
the anxiety that you fought so wellโฃ
that might return because I simply said ๐˜ฏ๐˜ฐ

    • Yes but in a sense that when you dread something you usually don’t want to speak much. So you speak in few words because you know the answer already. So instead of fully formed sentences you speak in broken blue sentences.
