“You have been silent for too long.
Tell me a tale.
So much time spent in solitude—
In living, in limbo, and in not living at all.
You must have a story to tell,
Emotions to make me feel,
Thoughts that made their way
To epiphany.”
I have been holding a thread on two ends,
pulled by fate and fear,
ensuring it doesn’t break
under the weight of two extremes.
It’s when I let go that I found
the thread was never meant to be held with power,
But to be kept in peace, left to its nature,
To break into two.
Everything returns to the source.
Everything changes.
I have returned to the shimmering light
That guides me in times of inner turmoil.
The path was dark, winding, and soul-crushing, but
Everything turned out fine.
Everything was… everything I sought.
I looked in the mirror and didn’t recognize the body,
Dissociating from the material sheath.
I looked deeper.
I saw that I was formless, endless…
Whirling within chaos
I was small, and I was large.
I was sick, and I was healthy.
There were things I needed to say,
emotions I longed to feel.
I had dreams to dream,
songs to sing.
All I needed was a certain detachment
From the man in the mirror.
So yes, I have a tale to tell
A tale about you.
It involves the man in the mirror,
speaking in a tune known to few.
It is a tale out of time presented
in iridescent images.
The sculpture is finished
when your reflection rests in peace
So yes, I have a tale to tell.
Just be at… peace
