  1. I’m a big fan of the element imagery! The little play on words with ‘flirt[ing]’ was so neat and well timed. What tone did you intend for the last line? I originally read it in a lighthearted way (probably due to a newfound appreciation for humour in poetry) but on second reading, I realised that it could be quite dark.

    1. it is very dark comedy centric. glad that you’re analysis are always so spot on. wish you were my friend so i could send you all my pieces and you could analyse them like you do and vice versa.

    1. The answer lies in your comment. I stopped waiting for inspiration and just started writing. Even if I don’t like what I write I make myself post it because I know my best work is yet to be written.
