I sleep at the time of your waking
You yawn at my desperatation
Screams inside turn into white noise
It feels like the time of the wolves
I crack at the sound of your fumes
Too close to the sun now
Flares of your regret too near
My eyes melt at the sight of you now
I lie when I say i’ll move
Circling around in my mind and outside
Vices can’t contain this sanity
I fall when I try to memorise
the fading image of our doom
Smoke words every day.
