[230] The Enlightenment

Last night i died a thousand deaths
and learned nothing new from it
I walked past all my past selves
catching up with all my past mistakes
but I learned nothing new from it
I played with shadows the game of nightmares
the rules of which weren’t decided
the surprise felt like blood swirling around my head
then I died another death
to learn nothing new from it anyway
