Let me inside
into your raging
purple dreams
Mirrorless reveries
of your discreet little side you hide
Walk me in when it is
about a rose petal about to fall
about a moon crescent caught
in a slipstream of clouds
so you catch your breath
inside your waning soul
You realise that the world
realises you
but the mist hides
the city you’re from and
from where you can belong
The roots of you
severs all connections
to all that you thought you were
The need to be going somewhere
stops you from being
here, there and everywhere
Intermittent fasting for the heart
to understand what you really need
a little bit of understanding and
a blinding passion to really breathe
Decency and dignity to those
who deserve and
Beauty and brevity to those
who live unperturbed
Enjoyment in the work you dream
Time stops hurting when you do not care
to bear the fruits or bemoan the lack of it
