These eyes know little than
what’s in between the lines
but they try to open up
what’s dormant in the mind
like letting in colours of opinion
and opinions about colours like
a blue or a navy or a beige or a brown
somewhere between complexity and concise
somewhere between simplicity and sublime
I walk on a lane with the rain falling in line
still, I struggle to walk straight
my mind huddles to fall again
my eyes fight to open up
to let the truth in
to let the focus stay
on me myself and I
not on what others are failing at
because they are the same
not focusing on their own eyes
focussing on me and my opinions
which only stay coloured, black and white

Splendid lines so true to the falsify of the mind with eyes that see only from the outside world. Great poem Rahul
