Cold winter breeze grazes my spine
It breaks little by little when i smile
The world is upside down
that’s why it seems like i’m smiling
If I don’t live try to kill my ghost
If it haunts all the lonely souls
who can feel everything slip away
as if they held the sands of time
The end escapes my grasp too
as i tried to hold together my spine
but it brittled into sands that slipped away
every time i tried to smile

I feel obligated to read your poetry because I feel like we’re neighbors. Officially.

I liked the play of words with the wind and the sand. Both can get carried away together. Really nice.
