[201] Moon River

I try to find you in a song that plays
A melancholic melody of a piano player
Your shadow of a smile doesn’t try to remain
between my mind
The smile moves to utter a breath that speaks
a word that I can’t hear or see
It feels like a momentary thing
for this moment i’ll try to live
and hear you say nothing
but for how long do we even live
I feel my end near
just lurking in my sparkling neurons
like a tiptoeing cry of a dragon

Turn around to leave
if holding you back is what i do
I hope to watch you fly sometimes
and think about the moment I realised that
I was just a satellite in your orbit
no longer an imperfect moon

I felt this as I read it. Brilliant, thank you.
